With one of our speciality menus, you can wow your guests from start to finish with something that little bit different but in true Hog Roast Killyleagh style, you’ll still get scrumptious, tasty, homemade dishes made out of fresh, local ingredients. While our festive menu is always a big hit at Christmas time, throughout the rest of the year, we have two amazing standalone menus that will no doubt hit the spot.
With our Loaded Fries, you get to choose your meat of either pulled pork or beef brisket, and your slaw which is either zesty or spicy, and we smother both over fresh-cooked chips and then add plenty of melting cheese to finish them off beautifully. Alternatively, our Southern Slow Roast is a great option if you want to satisfy various personal tastes, as you get to select three marinated meats from a possible five (pork, lamb, sticky pork ribs, beef brisket or chickens) and four sides from seven (coleslaw, jacket spuds, corn cobettes, mac and cheese, spicy wedges, a seasonal green leaf salad or a Greek salad). With either of these Hog Roast Killyleagh menus, your guests will enjoy plenty of delicious food made by professionals who care.
If you’d prefer to design your own menu, you also have that option if you prefer, and we have a whole host of mains, sides, starters, desserts and canapés on offer for you to do so. We can also cater for special diets, like gluten-free, vegan or vegetarian – you just need to let us know your guests’ needs when you book and we’ll do you proud, with suitable dishes that are just as tasty as our others.
Sometimes, a Hog Roast Killyleagh hog roast is all that’s needed for our customers and on Friday, we catered a corporate party where we cooked a medium-sized hog for hours on end in order to make piles of our famous pigs in buns (which you may know as hog roast rolls). Once cooked perfectly, our chef carved off the crackling and sliced up the soft, moist meat, filled soft bread rolls and wraps with both and added our signature homemade apple sauce and stuffing, and then it was time to satisfy everyone’s hunger.
