I went all out with you guys from the Canapes right through to the Dessert I just wanted to try everything, and it really did not disappoint! Hi Amey, It all went off without a hitch- the food was delicious and the boys were fantastic!!! I loved the array of hot sauces etc there were too.  They came and went so stealthily , so the party could just roll on uninterrupted, which was great ! Hi Penny, We honestly couldn't be happier with how it all went! Nathan was amazing to work with and as someone who always misses out on food because of my intolerances, it was really special for me to have every option available. We served the leftover pork with bread at 10pm which went down a storm and then we served it again the next day for our day 2 bbq. It was even nicer the 2nd day! Hello, The ribs were just out of this world. So glad we decided on the Southern Slow menu for our party. There was something for everyone and plenty to go around. Booked a roast for my friends and family as a joint birthday celebration for a couple of us who all have close birthdays. The pork was delicious and so tender and the roasties were spot on. Hi Penny Apologies for the late reply. I was hoping to share some photos alongside a review but they have been delayed. We were absolutely delighted with the service provided by Spitting Pig for our wedding. The communications through booking were clear and timely. We had a caterer cancel on us and were stressed about choosing a new one, but Spitting Pig's professionalism made it an easy choice. Nathan and his team were absolutely wonderful, both meeting ahead of time to discuss details and on the day. Nathan was very flexible in meeting our needs and adjusting ideas to work for us. In particular, the team was flexible as our needs changed on the day due to weather and we couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. The food itself was absolutely delicious and received many compliments from guests. I was also very impressed with how quickly all of the guests received their food. An all round 10/10! Thanks Ellen

Dear Penny, Thanks for your email, and everything went really well. The events team did an excellent job preparing and serving delicious food at our garden party on a warm and sunny afternoon. There were lots of compliments about the roast hog and Nathan and Paul were really professional in how they worked, while also being relaxed (enabling the hosts to just enjoy the party!). They brought everything they needed, set up the cooking and serving area quickly and after the meal tidied up everything. Nathan had said he would leave us any leftover food, but there wasn't any, which is a testament to how popular it was! Highly recommended. Best wishes

Hi Penny, I wanted to say thank you to yourself for setting us up and being very responsive from start to finish. Nathan was a pleasure to deal with and accommodated all requests.  Nathan arrived on time and did everything which meant I could get on with things knowing he was set. Nathan also allowed us to use a spare gazebo he had to ensure our entertainer was covered if the rain came. The pig was a huge attraction and everyone raved about the crackling. I panicked that there was too much food as not as many guys turned up as expected, but there were seconds and thirds and a lot of full tums. Hi Penny I hope you're well. Apologies for the delay in coming back to you, I just haven't had a chance to sit at my laptop for the past few weeks. Nathan and the team were incredible. They arrived promptly and set up with no hassle or problems. The smell was amazing and we were all very ready when they announced that the food was ready. We got so many compliments on the food. It was nothing short of delicious and we have recommended you to many people. It was so lovely to not have to worry about cleaning up or anything, at the end of the night the only evidence that you had been here were the fully bellies and the take out containers on my kitchen counter with the leftovers. They were promptly demolished at lunchtime the next day! Thank you again to Nathan and his team, we will definitely be contacting you again for our family events!

Firstly, can I  offer our personal thanks to Nathan and staff for their professionalism throughout the evening.  They came, set up, worked and dismantled in the background, without disruption to the evenings activities.  Nathan was very approachable and accommodating to the guests and ensured that everyone was happy.  My son was particularly impressed by Nathan taking the time to speak with him before he left. As for the food - FABULOUS!  We had wanted something a wee bit different to the norm and weren’t disappointed.  Our guests were taken aback by the standard of the food and loved the casual approach to how it was served.   The selection we had picked was perfect and went down a treat. Just wanted to say thank you for catering our party last Saturday. Despite the bad weather, the staff kept spirits high and most importantly the food was delicious! Would 100% recommend.

Everyone in the team were extremely helpful and observant answering all our questions with a friendly professional manner. They provided a delicious selection of salads, breads, potatoes, vegetarian options and the main event the tasty hog roast.

Hi Spitting Pig, I have been to 2 hog roasts, but Nathans just knocked them into space. It was perfect. the meat was cooked to perfection, stuffing really tasty + chips piping hot. The quality of the food + service was second to none. A Gentleman with such a lovely manner. I have had so many texts + calls to say how much the guests enjoyed the hog roast + how much they liked the guy doing it.. It was faultless. Thank you Nathan, I know it was such a long day for you with long journeys both ways, but you were the hero of our wedding ceilidh.

Booked Spitting Pig for my sister's surprise birthday party and I couldn't be more pleased! The communication was constant, chefs and servers were well organised, professional and very friendly and the food was delicious! The pork was succulent and there was more than enough to go around! I’ll admit, when my wife booked Hog Roast Blessington Abbey to cater a small family barbecue at home for us, I was a little bit offended. Was she insulting my BBQ skills? I am so glad she hired you guys! We still got to enjoy (huge portions of) amazing barbecue food, but I actually got to relax and chill with my family instead of slaving away over the grill which was really special. That BBQ is one of my most treasured memories from his year so far, so thank you!

Highly recommend Spitting Pig Ireland if you need catering for any type of event. We hired them for an anniversary party and it was perfect. Just what we asked for and they easily coped with some of our guests being vegan – and I have to say the vegetarian skewers were just as good as the hog itself! 10/10
