The republic of Ireland is currently at Level 5 restrictions, but what does this mean for Hog Roast Carrick catering at your wedding?
The current rules regarding weddings is that the couple are allowed six guests. The venue or caterers are not included in the number of guests, neither are the couple. Unfortunately, there are no exemption for children, they are included in the number of guests.
The good news is you are allowed a wedding reception to keep the celebrations going after the lovely and intimate wedding ceremony – yay! However, the wedding reception must comply with the rules, social distancing must be obtained as well as hand sanitising stations. The rules also state that a sit-down meal is the only wedding reception you are allowed, no music or dancing is permitted. You still get to have a lush meal (which is guaranteed with Hog Roast Carrick!) with close family and friends.
Regarding the sit-down meal, the food must be served to the table, no buffets are allowed. Thankfully, this is something Hog Roast Carrick can do! Enjoy a plateful of carefully carved pork, pieces of crisp crackling, a ball of sage and onion stuffing, rosemary and garlic infused salad roasted potatoes, sweet tomato and mozzarella salad, fresh and crisp seasonal leaf salad and classic Caesar salad. That is just some of the flavourful options you can enjoy as your wedding breakfast.
Unfortunately, the small number of guests is likely to stay this way as the country goes into level 4 which seems to be happening in early May. The government are yet to disclose and publish a roadmap past early May but hopefully decisions will be currently taking place and normality is hopefully not far away.
Hog Roast Carrick is praying that by early July wedding receptions up to 50 people will be allowed and by August an even bigger amount. They have their fingers and toes crossed that they can help you celebrate in the best way with all your family and friends.
