For their daughter Carly’s 14th birthday, Ruben and Stephanie had put together a fabulous party in celebration of the occasion. The event went ahead at Carly’s favourite place in the world – the safari park – where Ruben and Stephanie had paid to use the on-site event hall for the day, which gave them an exclusive view of some of the animals as they dined on one of Hog Roast Fethard’s mouth-watering menus!
Our team was so pleased to have been included in this special celebration, and Nathan, who is our catering manager here at Hog Roast Fethard, had dedicated the entire morning to preparing the custom spread that Ruben and Stephanie had chosen for the occasion. He and the team had arrived on-site hours in advance of the party’s start time, which ensured everything was ready when the guests arrived to celebrate later in the day.
This fully bespoke menu saw our team prepare one of our trademark hog roast feasts with all the trimmings: sage and onion stuffing, crispy and bubbling crackling, homemade applesauce, gluten-free rolls – the full works! They also prepared a charcuterie board of deli meats, cheeses, sundried tomatoes, artisan bread and olives for each of the tables, plus an assortment of salad options, mixed fries and creamy coleslaw. For the veggie/vegan guests, BBQ pulled jackfruit rolls were on offer, and for those not keen on hog roasts, Hog Roast Fethard had been asked to prepare beef burgers, gourmet sausages, chicken kebabs and spareribs as well.
This entirely inclusive buffet was followed up with a choice of dessert options, which included individual cheesecakes, chocolate torte, and fresh fruit salad chased down by a slice of delicious birthday cake with berries and cream, which ensured everyone’s tastes were catered to.
The guests were amazed by the variety of food on offer, which made each of them feel well taken care of at this event. The birthday girl, Carly, was so appreciative of the efforts her parents had gone to in order to make her party a success and she loved Hog Roast Fethard’s cooking so much that she has asked her mum and dad if they can hire us for her next birthday party!
