Our highly-trained Hog Roast Ennis professionals have many years of experience between them and not just for the hog and spit roasts that we’re famous for. We’ve known for a long time that our customers need variety and choice to ensure that all their guests can enjoy the food served at parties and events, and not just the majority, and that’s why we have plenty of options to satisfy both personal tastes and dietary requirements. Whether you’re organising an informal get-together or a posh soiree, and regardless of the number of guests you might be inviting, we have multiple menus to choose from, and you can mix and match items between menus if needed too. Whatever you have in mind, Hog Roast Ennis will help you to create a party to remember for a long time to come.
We recently catered a corporate party for Mia, who had asked us to cook up a feast of our delectable pigs in buns for most of her sixty guests at her factory, but she also needed additional and alternative options provided too. For the main course for several vegetarian guests, we would grill veggie skewers, which feature chunks of fresh halloumi and a rainbow of veg, served with pitta bread and a tasty Tzatziki dip. Firstly, however, once the guests arrived, they would be treated to a medley of our fresh handmade canapés, with half suitable for the vegetarians, and there would also be various sides provided together with the main courses too. No one would go hungry at this feast!
On the day of Mia’s party, Hog Roast Ennis set up our equipment in one of the loading bays at her factory and set about preparing the hog for its roasting. Later on, as it sizzled away in its own juices, we served six lovely canapés along with refreshments and then got busy with the skewers, cooked a pile of jacket potatoes and freshly prepared a huge coleslaw and two large Greek salads.
It took five hours to cook the hog to perfection on this day but once done, it was a sight for sore eyes and made many mouths water in anticipation, and once our chef got the carving knives out, the queues began to form.
