As the nation breaks free from lockdown, our teams are excited to be able to get back out in the field and cater for all of the celebratory events our clients have been busy planning! But we also know that many of our potential and existing customers still have concerns about safety, and want to know what they can expect if they book an event with us right now.
At Hog Roast Monaghan, we pride ourselves on our level of professionalism, and our approach to this situation has been no different. So, if you do place a booking for one of our fully catered for packages, you can rest assured that your occasion will be taken care of to the highest standard in a way that allows you and your loved ones to have fun while still following the guidelines. These days, our catering staffs’ uniform has been upgraded to include masks and gloves, and we also supply hand sanitizer at each buffet station for guests to use.
With all that in mind, our most recent client Jenny couldn’t wait to spoil her family with a much-needed meaty feast from our southern slow roast menu! After giving Hog Roast Monaghan a call, Jenny spoke to our catering manager, Nathan all about her ideas for the garden party which was set to entertain 30 people.
Deciding that a whole pig wouldn’t be necessary for a party of this size, Jenny created a menu for the day which comprised of BBQ pork butt, Texan 24 hour beef brisket and Louisiana sticky pork ribs. Side options for the event included mac and cheese, mixed sweet potato and traditional fries, Memphis style crunchy coleslaw, and a vegetarian alternative of grilled veggie skewers with chunks of Greek haloumi cheese was offered for non-meat-eating guests.
Under blue skies, Hog Roast Monaghan effortlessly prepared the drool-worthy feast which was ready just on time for the 6 pm serve. The guests couldn’t believe the vast selection of food on offer and using our eco-friendly wooden crockery and cutlery, they each bundled as much food onto their plates as possible!
