Lucy and her fiancé are getting married this spring and are currently finalising the details of their reception and making sure that everything is ready for their big day. One important thing to consider was the catering, which needed to suit the guest list, venue, and formality of the day. Lucy contacted Hog Roast Templemore to discuss her catering needs and our manager was happy to help out. We discussed menus that could be served buffet style to 120 guests, including meat-free and gluten-free dishes. The venue had space for a serving station and plenty of seats for the guests, making it ideal for one of our buffet menus. After discussing our options, it was decided that a classic hog roast would be ideal, alongside a few additional dishes. The couple is providing a cake for the day which is sure to be a great way to end the meal.
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Templemore team is planning on arriving at the venue with plenty of time for the 2:00pm mealtime. We will begin by slow-roasting the hog and ensuring that it is cooked to perfection. Once ready, the pork will be expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Gluten-free rolls will also be on offer. Additionally, we will be providing succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, homemade chips, and a selection of seasonal salad dishes. This is sure to be a great menu with plenty for the guests to enjoy and more than enough to go around.
