Earlier this month, Hog Roast Tulsk catered at an end-of-summer celebration taking place at a local community centre. The event included fairground rides, delicious food, and lots of stalls with prizes to be won. For our catering, we were hired to provide a classic hog roast for the occasion, which was ideal for the 250 guests to enjoy. This menu is versatile and always goes down a treat, so we knew that it would be a great addition to the event.
On the day of the fair, the Hog Roast Tulsk team arrived at the venue in the morning to prepare to serve our menu through the afternoon. We began by slow-roasting the hog, which was then expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we served succulent pork sausages and veggie sausages, to ensure that there was something for everyone to enjoy. For the side dishes, the guests could enjoy homemade chips, a selection of seasonal salad dishes, and gourmet coleslaw. Our menu was on offer from 2pm until 5pm, during which we served over 250 guests of all ages. The guests lined up at our station to create a delicious buffet lunch from the dishes that we had to offer, with plenty to choose from and more than enough to go around. Overall, the event was a great success and was the perfect way to end the summer.
