Hog Roast Inver’s latest event was a super sweet sixtieth birthday party! Young at heart Client Lynda wanted a fun party with her very best friends. So she turned to the Hog Roast Inver team and they were more than glad to jump on-board with her plans.
Birthday girl Lynda worked closely with the team to concoct a party menu that reflected her choice to have a fun filled special day. As part of the bespoke catering package for her event, the Hog Roast Inver team not only provided the food for the party, but also Chef Nathan to prepare it at the party venue, disposable crockery, cutlery and napkins and all the rubbish would be taken away at the end of the catering.
On the day of the party it was rather wet and windy, but Catering Manager Nathan wasn’t worried. There was plenty of space under the shelter outside the local village Hall for him to set up the catering gazebo, cooking equipment, lights and serving table. As soon as he arrived and set up the equipment Chef Nathan got to work preparing al the tasty dishes, so that by 4pm when the food was to be served to the guests everything was piping hot and ready to be enjoyed.
The main attraction at the buffet serving table was the Thai chicken kebabs and meaty marinated spare ribs, alongside these tasty treats there was a basket of crusty rolls and an assortment of sauces and dips. Also on offer at the heavily laden serving table was three types of salad, the salads on offer were: Tomato and Basil, Carrot and Orange with tasty Sesame Dressing and finally a delicious Waldorf salad. Finishing off the birthday meal was new potatoes roasted in rosemary and garlic. The meal really had something for everyone and was packed full of flavour, just as Lynda wanted.
Chef Nathan had all the dishes ready for 4pm on the dot, so that when birthday girl Lynda and her guests filed out of the hall to load up their plates with food it was all ready to be enjoyed. And they loved it! Everyone piled their plates high with the tasty dishes and Chef Nathan received lots of praise for his hard work.
