Claire and her husband are getting married this December and have been busy planning the perfect day, complete with a ceremony at their church and a country club reception with 120 guests. The couple met Hog Roast Belfast at a wedding fair in 2023 and were enticed by our catering. They chatted with our catering manager Nathan and discussed which menus would be ideal for a cosy winter wedding. After chatting through a few options, they decided that our classic hog roast would be perfect for their December wedding since it includes the perfect comfort food and delicious, warming dishes. Additionally, we will be serving a few extra dishes to ensure that there is a meat-free option and something for younger guests to enjoy.
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Belfast team is planning to arrive at the venue in the morning to prepare for the 3:00pm serving time. We will begin by preparing the hog, which will be cooked to perfection on-site. Once ready, the pork will be expertly carved and accompanied by sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we will be providing veggie sausages and pork sausages to provide a varied selection of main dishes. For the sides, the guests can enjoy homemade roasted potatoes, creamy mac and cheese, a selection of seasonal salad dishes, and rich gravy.
