Enjoy your winter wedding with festive catering from Hog Roast Dublin

Hog Roast DublinWinter weddings are always spectacular events, especially when the weather leaves everywhere looking frosty and sparkling. Another great bonus to getting married during December is that you can choose to enjoy a delicious festive menu for your catering, and Hog Roast Dublin has just the option!

Earlier this year, Hog Roast Dublin was hired to cater for a wonderful winter wedding taking place in Ireland. The wedding was set to take place this December, just in time for the frosty weather and festive period to get in full swing! For the catering, our team was hired to provide a full festive menu to 106 guests, including a meat-free alternative for several veggie guests. This was the perfect wedding for Samantha and Oisín’s big day and had plenty for them to look forward to!

On the day of the wedding, the Hog Roast Dublin team arrived at the venue on Harcourt Street with plenty of time to prepare for the 18:00 serving time. We began by preparing the main dishes, which included a succulent roasted hog and grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers. The mains were accompanied by a variety of festive sides, including cauliflower cheese, pigs in blankets, roasted potatoes, homemade gravy, glazed sprouts, green beans, peas, and glazed carrots. This created a delicious main meal and had plenty for the guests to enjoy. It was a hearty and warming buffet that was perfect for an icy winter evening!

Hog Roast DublinFollowing the mains, we served a delicious chocolate yule log that was accompanied by English cream. Alternatively, we also served a gluten-free dessert for several gluten-free guests. Each dish was presently elegantly to ensure that it looked as good as it tasted! This was a great way to end the meal and prepared the guests for an evening of entertainment.
