A community centre based locally contacted Hog Roast Tulsk earlier this year to arrange catering for their Halloween event. The event is being hosted for children of all ages, with activities for adults to enjoy too, as a way to unite the community by providing an event that everyone can look forward to! For entertainment, the event will include costume competitions, face painting, party games, music, darts, pool, all kinds of drinks, and a delicious evening buffet. For the menu, it was decided that a classic hog roast would be ideal for the occasion with a few additional extras to ensure that there is something for every guest to enjoy.
In preparation for the event, we began to plan a menu that would appeal to everyone, including younger guests. The star of the menu would be our slow-roasted hog, which will be cooked to perfection on the day of the event and expertly carved by our chef. The sliced meat will then be served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. We will also provide pork and veggie sausages, as well as halloumi and vegetable skewers. For the side dishes, we will provide a selection of salad options and homemade chips, to create a varied and delicious buffet dinner.
