Corporate St. Andrews Day Cooking At Hog Roast Newbridge

Last Monday, it was St. Andrew’s day, which for Hog Roast Newbridge meant there was lots of work to be done! From dropping off countless Gourmet Deliveries of our most famous hog roast menus; to providing a full-blown catering service at intimate family celebrations and corporate functions, our team made sure that this year’s festivities won’t soon be forgotten.

While the newly upped restrictions prevented most gatherings from taking place in a lot of areas across the country, nevertheless, there was still plenty for us to get involved in, and we were thrilled when Richard invited us to cater at his corporate luncheon.

Having gotten in contact with us weeks before the event was scheduled to take place, our Hog Roast Newbridge catering manager was able to work closely alongside Richard to come up with the perfect feast for the day. In the end, it was our incredibly popular, corporate catering menu 3, that appealed to Richard the most – and it’s not hard to see why!

Featuring an exquisite collection of meat-based combos, each presented with complimentary accompaniments, fresh salads and a delicious potato dish, this mouth-watering menu is ideal for all sorts of events. Moreover, it even includes a vegetarian and vegan option, making it fully inclusive of every taste and dietary requirement.

From the range of dishes available, Richard had chosen his feast to include a main meat option of slow roasted sirloin of beef served with horseradish sauce, Yorkshire puddings and homemade red wine gravy with additional sides of tomato and basil salad, cous cous, coleslaw and warm new potatoes roasted with sea salt and rosemary.

With the temperatures dropping, Hog Roast Newbridge arrived at Richard’s workplace to get started on preparations for the lunch a few hours earlier than normal as the cold has been known to impact the cooking time. But even with the weather acting as an obstacle, the catering craw presented the meal right on time, which provided the perfect St. Andrew’s Day treat for Richard and his hardworking team!
