Hog Roast Catering
What happens if we don’t want to choose pork?
Although Hog Roasts are what we are famous for it’s not all we offer. Tender, flavourful slow roasted pork is a very popular choice amongst our customers, however we still produce unbelievable flavours from a range of other meat options. You can choose from lamb, chicken, turkey, beef and plenty of others options that are listed on our menus. If there is something you would like to have that isn’t on our menus then please do ask as we will do our best to accommodate your request.
How much does a hog roast cost roughly?
Our prices do vary depending on the number of guests that you are expecting and which menu you decide to choose. What we suggest to do is either complete our online enquiry form, send us an email with your event details on or call us directly and we will be able to have a free quote with you on the same day.
What happens if it rains on the day of my event?
It’s not a problem for us at all, we will always discuss with you a plan for if it rains prior to the day. We have catered in all weather conditions so for us the show will still go on! If we are catering outdoors we will always bring along our gazebo to protect from any weather conditions (to keep the food dry and on the other hand to keep the food in the shade from the glorious sunshine on the occasions we are joined by the sun). Alternatively if it is an option at your venue we are able to serve your food indoors so that your guests don’t have to step out in the rain.
Will you be able to cook a hog roast at my venue?
One of the best things about our machines is that they run from gas so we don’t require access to electricity, meaning we are fully self-sufficient. We are able to cater absolutely anywhere. The tyres on our machines mean that we can take them across any terrain with ease, so no matter how remote your location you can rely on Spitting Pig Ireland.
How many guests do I need to invite to be able to have a hog roast?
When it comes to confirming numbers for your event we have no minimum or maximum that you would need to stick too, we can cater for any number at all. In the past we have catered for small family parties consisting of 20 guests to then providing our signature hog roast to a few thousand guests for large corporate open days.
Where in Ireland does your catering services cover?
Good news! We in fact cover the whole of Ireland, so it doesn’t matter where you are hosting your event we will be able to come to your venue and provide you and your guests with one of our delicious hog roasts!
Some of my guests are vegetarians, do I need to provide food for them myself?
Of course not, with Spitting Pig Ireland we make sure that every single guest is catered for no matter what the dietary requirement. We have some delicious vegetarian and vegan options to choose from, so good in fact that we often have to hide them from our carnivores!
